here is the video format that is preferred for google video.
Size = 640×480
Video format = mpeg-2 or mpeg-4
Compression = 2 megabytes per second up to 5 megabytes per second.
I think mpeg-4 should have the 5 megabytes per second compression rate.

Audio format = mp3

But i uploaded multimedia files that were:
384×288, cinepac codec , with pcm audio,
and they play just fine, but i would use the 640×480 size because that is what they are presented at..
and then they wont be so pixellated..
and i think mpeg-4 compresses heaps.. i havent had good results with it as yet but i must experiment further..

a 30 second clip of about 11 megabytes took 30 minutes to upload.
If you have a lot of titles , you can get an uploader program.
