I recommend that you go to OxfamUnwrapped.com to buy a christmas present that is actually useful to the planet and to others less fortunate than oneself.
You can send chickens and goats and seeds, and school books to Africa, East Timor and other struggling countries.

It makes me feel better about Christmas and the madness of shopping excess and greed.
I gave two chickens, a goat, Seeds, a business opportunity, and school books so I am feeling very happy about that.

There should be an oxfam unwrapped in your country. I know there is one in Australia (oxfamunwrapped.com.au) and in the U.K.

Do something about all the crap that sickens you during christmas time and do something useful for a change.
I did and I feel great. And Christmas usually pisses me off severely with all the hypocrisy and economic insanity.

So , merry christmas to someone less fortunate than me.
