Adobe unveils Flash successor: AIR
Adobe has unveiled AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime), the next step in the
evolution of Flash, which has long dominated the interactive web.
Previously codenamed Apollo, AIR is designed to further enhance cross-platform
interactivity and to extend rich Internet applications
(RIAs) right to the desktop.
